ABOUT YOUR HOST
Chris Tuttle, your host and producer, is a seasoned media professional with a career spanning several decades, encompassing radio broadcasting, podcasting, chaplaincy, and photography. His goal is to bring you the stories, voices, and hidden gems that make this region truly one of a kind.
Podcasting
In 2020, Chris developed the acclaimed “Hot Country Podcast” and Internet radio “The Highway Station”. After moving to Arizona and beginning his semi-retirement, he created “Arizona Podcast” where he and his wife Mary, share their adventures exploring Arizona’s highways and backroads, delving into the state’s rich history and hidden gems. They also produce “Arizona Route 66: The Podcast,” focusing on the historic Route 66, highlighting diners, hotels, ghost towns. Additionally, he created “Conversation and Coffee from the Main Street Of America”; talking with community leaders from the towns and communities along the Mother Road, Route 66.
Radio Broadcasting
30+ years of Southern California radio. Starting his career as an overnight board operator and ending as a VP/GM of a small broadcast cluster. Most of his career was in the Country Music genre, from Classic Country, the outlaws of the 1970’s to Hot Country of the 80’s and 90’s. When not on the air, it was time with family and friends, Rodeo’s, backstage moments at country music concerts and endless nights 2-steppin’ on sawdust floors at local dance halls and honky-tonks!
Chaplaincy
Chris is a semi-retired Chaplain (can you ever leave Chaplaincy work?), an FSA (Scot) and continues earning recognition for his heartfelt and personalized approach to everything he does. His dedication to creating memorable experiences has been a hallmark of his chaplaincy career. His passion is that of the life and love of a Rodeo Chaplain; “There’s nothing more humble than attending Cowboy Church!”
